Reading is fundamental to the learning process and with rampant advances in technology, the culture of reading is waning, especially amongst the very young. In an effort to promote Reading and Literacy in primary schools, ELET started this important program in 4 primary schools in Inanda, namely Buhlebethu Primary, Esikhululiwe Primary, Imbaliyamazulu Primary and Sipumelele Primary. Our partners in this program are the Rotary E- Club of South Africa One and the Liberty Community Trust. ELET oversees the delivery and management of fully equipped mobile libraries to each school. Each library is equipped with a vast array of the latest and most relevant books for learners in Grades R to Grade 4. We hope to continue and expand this project in years to come.
